Dobrou Chut' (Bon Appetite)

"Can I have the vegetarian menu please"
" Here you are "

Vegetarian
Slovak sheep cheese dumplings with bacon 80,-
Slovak dumplings with cabbage and bacon 60,-
Fried mushrooms, boiled potatoes, tartar sauce 90,-
Brinza patties 130,-
Apricot dumplings with quark and whipped cream 90,- ˇ

"Whaaatt?? there is bacon here?"
"Hmm... so you dont eat meat? at all?"

That's what might happen to my vegetarian friend. She cant really find peace. A "normal" vegetarian meal becomes a hard adventure. And somehow being a vegetarian is an "abnormality". I am afraid that vegetarians and pork-restricted eaters will face hard times here coz it seems everything involves meat, meat, and meat while pork is the main contributor:-). Although I hate to say that .. bacon and its "colleagues" are such gifts from "heaven" hehe...darn!!! so yummy..

Anyway, it still worths to state that food and Czech are the right combination- such a good chemistry:-). the meals include scrumptious bramborak (yummy potato pancake), eye popping souvicka and stuffed dumpling and mouthwatering pizza..
oh yes, mate. Czech pizza is broadly famous and becomes trademark in Europe...
You can find tasty food from nice and cheap jidelna (kantin) to a classy and romantic restaurace (restaurant) everywhere.

But chinese food and czech? Ne... it's nightmare!!!! Finding a decent chinese food in Czech Rep? What a mission impossible... suspicions vary from the incompetent chinese cook, the scarcity of the materials, to modified Chinese food due to an awfully different taste belong to Czech.
and somehow I believe the latter one:-).

nevertheless:-), mission is unaccomplished... searching the precious eastern magic food and other ever-growing international food in Czech are unending tasks which I have gladly taken, my lord....
